Phoenix Credentialing Is Joining BreezyBilling

We have an exciting announcement to share with you.

Phoenix Credentialing is joining BreezyBilling.

If you've worked with Phoenix Credentialing, nothing about your experience is going to change — and that's the whole point. The same team that has been handling your credentialing and contracting will continue doing exactly that, now operating under the BreezyBilling name.

Here's the story behind the move.

How Phoenix Credentialing Came to Be

Phoenix Credentialing was founded in 2022 by Paul Jonas and Carrie Ripley, who also lead BreezyBilling. The two companies have always shared the same team, the same approach, and the same commitment to behavioral health practices. Phoenix was created specifically to address a gap: practices needed a dedicated, process-driven credentialing partner — not just a checkbox on a billing company's service list.

What Phoenix built over the past several years has been exactly that. A team that is meticulous, responsive, and deeply familiar with the credentialing landscape for behavioral health providers in Minnesota and beyond. From new provider paneling to contract reviews to recredentialing maintenance, Phoenix took a complex, opaque process and made it manageable.

Why Now?

The honest answer is simple: having two separate brands for what is fundamentally one team serving one industry has started to create more friction than clarity.

Behavioral health practices increasingly need both billing and credentialing support. Running two brands meant clients who needed both had to navigate two separate relationships, two websites, two points of contact. That's not the kind of experience we want to deliver.

Bringing Phoenix's credentialing and contracting services under the BreezyBilling umbrella creates a cleaner, more complete offering. One team. One relationship. Full coverage from credentialing through revenue cycle management.

What This Means for Phoenix Clients

If you're a current Phoenix Credentialing client, here is what you should know:

Nothing changes about the quality or continuity of your service. The people working on your credentialing are the same people who have always been working on your credentialing. Your account, your contacts, your process — unchanged.

Your point of contact remains the same. You won't be handed off to a stranger or re-onboarded. The team that knows your practice continues to serve your practice.

You now have a direct path to BreezyBilling's billing and RCM services if you ever need them. This isn't a sales pitch — many practices are fully served by credentialing alone. But if you're ever looking to streamline your billing side as well, that conversation is now just one relationship away.

Your new home on the web is breezybilling.com. All Phoenix Credentialing links and URLs will redirect to the relevant pages on BreezyBilling's website. You won't lose anything; you'll just find it in a new place.

What This Means for BreezyBilling Clients

If you're a BreezyBilling client, this announcement formalized something that has been quietly true for years: the team handling your billing has always had deep expertise in credentialing and contracting as well.

BreezyBilling now officially offers:

  • Credentialing — new provider paneling, adding providers to existing contracts, CAQH and NPPES management
  • Contracting — securing new payer contracts, contract reviews, roster management
  • Credentialing Maintenance — recredentialing, annual roster reviews, payer portal updates
  • Revenue Cycle Management — claims submission, payment posting, denial management, A/R audits, and more

If your practice has been doing your own credentialing — or outsourcing it separately — we're now in a position to bring that under the same roof as your billing.

The Name, The Phoenix

There is something fitting about the Phoenix name for this moment. The credentialing practice that Paul Jonas and Carrie Ripley built from scratch is not disappearing — it's transforming. The work continues. The people continue. The commitment to behavioral health providers continues.

It just has a new name now. And we think you'll find it a familiar one.
