Professional billing, inside your SimplePractice.
We work directly in your SimplePractice account, no extra software, no data exports, no third-party portals. Just expert billing from the people who know the platform inside and out.
Built for behavioral health practices on SimplePractice
If your practice runs on SimplePractice and you bill insurance, we can help, regardless of size or specialty.
One provider, no billing staff. We handle everything so you can stay focused on clients.
Multiple providers, growing complexity. We scale with your caseload without adding headcount.
ASAM levels, Medicaid billing, MAT. We know the nuances of SUD reimbursement.
Med management, E/M coding, combination visits. Psych billing done right.
Neuropsych, educational, and psychological testing billing across commercial and managed care.
We don’t ask you to switch platforms. We master yours.
BreezyBilling logs into your SimplePractice account and works alongside your existing workflows. Claims, denials, ERA posting, patient statements are all handled natively inside the system you already know and trust. Your providers keep charting. We keep billing.
We live inside your SimplePractice account. That’s the whole point.
Most billing companies pull your data into their own system, run it through their own workflow, and send you a report at the end of the month. We do the opposite. BreezyBilling operates entirely within your SimplePractice account, using the same tools your practice already has.
Every claim we create, every payment we post, every denial we work. All visible in your SimplePractice dashboard in real time. No black box. No monthly summary to request.
We don't export to a third-party platform or run your claims through external clearinghouses you didn't choose. Everything stays inside SimplePractice.
The moment a note is signed, we're building and submitting the claim. No waiting for data exports, no syncing between platforms, no translation errors between systems.
Your staff don't change anything. Notes get signed the same way. Scheduling stays the same. We work around your team, not the other way around.
We handle every step
What you get when billing professionals live inside your EHR
These aren’t theoretical advantages. These are the things SimplePractice practices tell us they notice in the first 30 days.
Zero learning curve for your team
Your front desk, office manager, and providers don't need to learn a new system, check a separate portal, or change any of their existing habits. We work inside the same SimplePractice account they already use every day. Notes get signed the same way. The only difference is that billing actually gets done, thoroughly, accurately, and on time.
Complete visibility into your billing
Every claim, every payment, every denial, every appeal. It's all inside your SimplePractice account where you can see it anytime. You never have to email us asking where a claim is or wait for a monthly report. Just open SimplePractice and look. We believe transparency is non-negotiable, and working inside your system is how we deliver it.
No data leaves your account
We don't export your patient data to a third-party platform. We don't run your information through external clearinghouses you didn't choose. Everything stays inside SimplePractice, protected by the same security and compliance framework you already trust. Your data, your account, your control.
SimplePractice-specific expertise
We're not learning SimplePractice as we go. We know it cold. The billing module, the ERA posting workflow, the eligibility checker, the reporting suite, the authorization tracker. We know the quirks, the shortcuts, and the edge cases that trip up practices who try to handle billing in-house. When SimplePractice pushes an update, we adapt immediately.
Faster claim turnaround
Because we work inside your account, there's no back-and-forth. No waiting for data exports, no syncing between platforms, no translation errors between systems. The moment a note is signed, we're building and submitting the claim. That means shorter days in A/R, fewer timely filing issues, and a healthier cash flow.
A dedicated team that knows your practice
You get one account coordinator and one biller. That's your team. They learn your payers, your fee schedules, your authorization requirements, and your practice's particular quirks inside SimplePractice. When something comes up, you're talking to the people who actually know your account, not a help desk.
From first call to full billing support in days, not months
Getting started with BreezyBilling is straightforward. We designed our onboarding process specifically for SimplePractice practices, so there’s no disruption to your day-to-day operations.
Discovery call
We start with a conversation about your practice: how many providers you have, what payers you bill, what your current pain points are, and how your team uses SimplePractice today. No sales pitch, just an honest assessment of whether we're a good fit.
Takes about 30 minutes. No commitment required.Account access & onboarding
You grant us secure, role-based access to your SimplePractice account. We set up our team with the permissions they need, nothing more. Then we spend time learning your specific setup: your fee schedules, your payer mix, your authorization requirements, and any workflows your office has built.
Onboarding is fast and seamless as our team already knows SimplePractice inside and out.Billing audit & baseline
Before we start submitting new claims, we audit your existing A/R. We look at outstanding claims, aging balances, denial patterns, and any revenue that may have slipped through the cracks. This gives us, and you, a clear picture of where things stand and what needs attention first.
We share findings and a plan before moving forward.Active billing begins
From here, we're in your SimplePractice account daily. As notes are signed, we review documentation, build claims, submit them electronically, post payments, manage denials, and handle patient billing. Your dedicated biller and account coordinator are working your account every single day.
Most practices see measurable improvement within 30 days.Ongoing partnership
We don't just set it and forget it. You get regular account reviews, monthly performance reports pulled from your SimplePractice data, and proactive communication about anything we see: trends in denials, payer behavior changes, coding opportunities, or documentation gaps that could affect reimbursement.
Your team is always a phone call or email away.Every phase of your billing, inside SimplePractice
From the moment a note is signed to the moment payment hits your bank account, we manage every step of the revenue cycle without ever leaving your SimplePractice system. Here’s everything we cover.
We review every note for coding accuracy, create clean claims directly in SimplePractice, and submit them electronically to the right payers, all within your account. No exports, no third-party claim scrubbers. Just accurate billing using the tools SimplePractice already provides.
Before sessions happen, we verify coverage and manage authorizations inside SimplePractice so your team never has to wonder if a visit will be paid. When auths are running low or a patient's coverage has changed, we catch it before it costs you.
When ERAs and EOBs come in, we post payments directly in SimplePractice, matching every payment, adjustment, and denial to the right claim. Discrepancies get flagged and resolved. Secondary claims get generated automatically when appropriate.
Denials don't just get noted. They get worked. We track every denial in SimplePractice, identify the root cause, and take action. Whether it's a simple corrected claim or a multi-level appeal with supporting documentation, we see it through.
We manage patient balances within SimplePractice, generating accurate statements and helping resolve billing questions so your front desk isn't fielding calls about insurance. Patients get clear, professional communication about what they owe and why.
Using SimplePractice's built-in reporting alongside our own tracking, we give you clear visibility into your practice's financial health. No extra dashboards or logins. Just actionable data from the system you already use.
Breezy vs. in-house vs. a generic billing company
Most practices are choosing between three options. Here’s how they stack up for a SimplePractice practice.
Everything you’ve been meaning to ask
HIPAA, access, pricing, contracts, onboarding. The questions practices always ask before getting started.
Yes. SimplePractice supports role-based access controls, and we use a dedicated biller login with only the permissions needed to do billing work. We sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with every practice we work with, and SimplePractice itself is a HIPAA-compliant platform. No patient data ever leaves your SimplePractice environment.
We have access to the billing module, patient insurance information, clinical notes (for coding review), and the scheduling calendar. We do not have access to anything beyond what's required for billing. Your providers' personal information, practice financial accounts, and any settings outside the billing workflow are not within our scope.
We charge a percentage of collections, typically between 5–8% depending on practice size, payer mix, and complexity. There are no setup fees, no monthly minimums, and no charges for months with low volume. We earn when you earn. Exact pricing is discussed during your discovery call once we understand your specific situation.
We work on a one-year contract. Most practices stay well beyond that because the results speak for themselves.
Most practices are fully onboarded and actively billing within a few business days of granting us access. The first week typically involves a billing audit of your existing A/R, a review of your fee schedules and payer contracts, and getting your dedicated biller up to speed on your specific workflow. We don't disrupt your clinical operations during this process.
Very common. We can work alongside an existing front desk person or office manager, taking over the complex billing work (claim submission, denial management, ERA posting, appeals) while your staff continues to handle scheduling, intake paperwork, and patient-facing tasks. We'll define the division of responsibilities clearly during onboarding so there's no confusion.
We work with most major commercial payers, managed care organizations, Medicare, Medicaid, and state-specific behavioral health plans. We also have experience with EAPs, out-of-network reimbursement, and self-pay/sliding scale practices. If you have a payer you're unsure about, ask us during the discovery call.
That's actually one of the most common situations we walk into. The first thing we do is an A/R audit specifically to find and recover what's been left on the table. Depending on the age of the claims, we can often recover significant revenue that practices had written off as uncollectable. We've seen practices recoup months of missed revenue in the first 60 days.
